PLATFORM PARTNER PROGRAM OVERVIEW
VS now gives you the option of owning and managing your own virtual switch. VS’s prepaid switch platforms offer the most versatility and value – enabling our partners to be more competitive and profitable. VS will provide all of the benefits of owning your own switch, without the investment, risk or responsibility of managing a complex and constantly changing debit switch platform. VS will provide qualified candidates with all the raw materials to manufacture, distribute and manage a prepaid calling card platform, a turnkey system – available in one day.

PLATFORM FACILITIES
VS platform switching facilities are in Dallas, New York and Miami operating on state-of-the-art platforms from Lucent/Excel, Cisco and others. Our alliance partners offer prepaid calling platforms with complete call processing and debit accountability, unlimited network and service expandability, distributed switching architecture, international telephony support and a web based Windows interface.

PLATFORM COMPONENTS
There are four primary components to the VS Platform Partner Program. The total of these components equals the cost of your platform.

1.	ORIGINATION – Also known as the “inbound leg”, is the costs associated with the toll-free (800) or local access numbers that the user calls to initiate a phone call. Origination costs range from .008 to .015 for local access and .01 to .02 for toll-free access (48 states). Origination from outside the continental US including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, USVI and Guam is also available at very low costs.
2.	TERMINATION – Also know as the “outbound leg”, this is the cost to terminate (or transport) the call to the destination number (party receiving the phone call). Costs vary depending on what country and/or city within that country the call is being made too and all costs are subject to LCR (least cost routing).
3.	PLATFORM FEES – Also known as “switching fee”, this is a fee paid to VS to use the virtual platform and pricing ranges from .0025 to .0065 per switched minute depending on whether it is a domestic (US), Mexico or International minute.
4.	CUSTOMER SERVICE – If you wish VS to handle your customer service, there will be a fee ranging between .001 and .0015 cents per switched minute. You will be issued your own 800 number that will be answered in the name of your company. If you choose to do your own customer service, then this cost would not apply.

LCR (LEAST COST ROUTING)
VS uses a least-cost-routing software program designed to route all calls over the least expensive routes. There are approximately 270 countries that your virtual platform has access to. For each of those countries we usually keep 4-6 carriers in line to terminate the traffic. Each call that comes into the platform will be first routed to the lowest cost carrier for completion. If that carrier is out of capacity or if that carrier has been disabled, then the call is routed to the next lowest cost carrier. This entire process takes only about one second and is continued until the call is completed. Actual LCR routing will determine your actual termination costs. Carriers may be disabled if they don’t meet the connectivity or quality minimums established by VS.

TRAINING
VS provides free training in our New Orleans offices for all Platform Partners. This 1 1⁄2 day intensive schedule will focus on giving you the fundamentals of running your own switch and how to position your products strategically in the marketplace. We will extend to you our years of experience and special skills in running a prepaid platform.

GRAPHIC ART DESIGN/PRINTING
VS has it’s own full time graphic arts department that will assist you in the creativity, design and production of your card faces, posters and other marketing collateral including in-store POP materials. We are not in the printing business, but because of our volume can offer you some of the lowest pricing from reliable, quality printers.

TOTAL CUSTOMIZATION
Your Virtual Switch Program will be fully customized for your business. Your company logo will be on your Virtual Switch Site with branded Management Screens. Welcome your customers with your company's custom voice prompts in any language, on any card.

IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING PROGRAM
VS can move your existing programs to your virtual switch. We would require authorization from you to move the 800 access numbers and customer service numbers if applicable. We would also need the pin files, with balances that we would then import under your account on our platform. The whole process can be accomplished in 2-3 days and faster if urgency is required.

USE YOUR OWN CARRIERS
If you have your own carriers, we can bring them onto our platform. We are equipped to handle both TDM and VoIP connectivity. We can set up our routing so that you sue your carriers exclusively or set them up in our LCR so your calls are routed over your carriers or ours, depending on which has the lowest cost. If your rates are better nay what we have, we would also be interesed in buying minutes from you.
